About
I’m a New York City based textile and apparel designer with an eye for style and trends and a love for creative, hands-on work. My background spans sewing, rope techniques, tufting, crochet, knitting, surface design, and product manufacturing, skills I use to bring playful, thoughtful designs to life across both home goods and apparel. Since 2018, I've been designing, making, and manufacturing rugs, baskets, and other home goods myself, locally, and overseas for my brand Ugly Rugly. I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with brands like Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, and SSENSE. I’m especially passionate and interested in soft product and apparel manufacturing that’s done responsibly and shared through smart design and interactive customer education.
As the co-founder of Ugly Rugly and UR Fancy Shop in Brooklyn, I’ve worn many hats from creative direction and product design to branding, production, sourcing, and customer service. I also thrive in leadership and operational roles, where I can streamline systems, solve problems, and support teams.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me weight lifting, hanging out with my dog, Chase, or crocheting something colorful. I’m excited to explore new opportunities that connect creativity, purpose, and community—so please don’t hesitate to reach out!
