My background is deeply rooted in rural Escalon, CA, where I was raised on a dairy farm in this small, close-knit community in rural California. Our farm, though relatively modest by regional standards, housed around 2,000 head of cattle. During my formative years, my primary responsibility was bottle-feeding the baby cows, they're sooo cute. My childhood was filled with simple pleasures like riding bikes, taming wild kittens, and exploring the nearby creek, which now boasts a population of fresh river otters. In those early years, I harbored dreams of becoming a country western singer or a fashion designer, although my inability to carry a tune eventually led me down the fashion career path. My family's connection to the land was strong, with my parents and grandparents maintaining expansive gardens and tending to chickens. In a unique twist, my father's work in Nascar introduced me to the world of motorsports, and I had the opportunity to visit nearly all the racetracks in the United States. My experience traveling to racetracks ignited a passion for travel. I've been all over the world and studied abroad in India, Germany, and Guatemala. I eventually settled in San Francisco for seven years before making New York City my home for the past decade.
