As an experienced professional in the world of fashion and sewing, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Armed with a BFA from the California College of the Arts and an AS degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising both in Fashion Design, my passion for design and sewing has led me to a fulfilling career as a freelance sewing and manufacturing expert. I'm dedicated to translating innovative design concepts into meticulously crafted garments and home goods, ensuring every piece meets the highest standards of quality and style. My commitment to the art of sewing and design is at the core of everything I do.

Projects

Circus NY by Sam Edelman
We created scrunchie bows to celebrate Circus NY's launch of ballet flats. We used leftover satin from production to make over 200 units. They were used at influencer events, where custom embroidery was applied.

Off Beat Sweet
Worked on sample development for Off Beat Sweet. We created a production run of 30 bags in three colorways.

Berriez
I designed and created a custom curtain for Berriez new studio dressing room. It consists of two 12' long by 85" tall curtain panels with a topstitched applique motif.

UR Fancy Shop
I create home goods and custom items from vintage fabrics for our retail brick and mortar. Including a custom curtain.

Ugly Rugly
As the co-founder of Ugly Rugly, I design and make many different types of projects. Here I would like to highlight that I do sewing production for Ugly Rugly for our retail store UR Fancy Shop, website orders, and wholesale orders. I developed a rope coiling technique using utility cord and an industrial zig-zag sewing machine. I am responsible for sewing over 300 units per year. Additional duties are sewing in tags and any finishing details needed for our goods.

CreateMe Knitwear Innovation Center

As a Knitwear Post-Production Specialist and lead stitcher in the Knitwear Innovation Center. I touched all aspects of the post-production process, from yarn tie-off and sewing labels to steaming and mending. Made finished production samples, creating sew-bys for all construction methods including zippers, and pockets. Operated industrial machines such as; linkers, chain stitch, steam irons. I worked on projects for Brady Brand and Steven Alan.

Sewn & Handmade Works

I exclusively designed and crafted all items. All patterns were drafted by me and I created all pieces by hand. These were items made for myself, friends, and family.
